Groups are fundamental for the survival of human species. As Newton puts it, we stand on the shoulders of giants. The intellectual inheritance lets the following ones to continue to learn, develop and create more.

In group coaching, we work with the whole group to improve its collective performance. Group coaching multiplies the learning as people learn from each other’s experiences, knowledge and challenges. In the broader view, it helps people become and feel a part of the group. As a consequence, the work is better and the executive stays longer.

Our Approach

Group coaching requires a specially trained coach who have a psychological background and good knowledge of psychological techniques and methods as well as possessing a deep understanding of organizational life.

In Minerve, Merve exhibits her unique ability by combining her psychology and business background providing stimulating and challenging group coaching services: Creating a safe and secure environment where a group of executives are able to talk openly within confidentiality and learn at the maximum levels.

Group Coaching includes 2 areas of coaching:

1. Team Coaching

A team shares goals and tasks and already established guiding principles. The intervention here is work-centric.

When a team is set up with right people at the right time with right roles and responsibilities and with the right incentive system, the only lacking ingredient is regular, task- focused, fine-tuning coaching interventions.

Team coaching includes such steps:

2.  Leadership Group Coaching (Coaching Learning Groups)

In learning groups, the group does not necessarily have shared goals and tasks. The individual learning is maximized in coaching learning groups for matters like

    • Conflict resolution
    • Low-performance of some are not mitigated with the other members of the team
    • Project deliverables are in danger because of not addressed issues
    • The team will be composed of diverse corporate culture representatives e.g. M&A times
    • There is an unbalanced, predominating power relationship in the team

Enterprisewide change is mainly ensured with this type of group coaching.
