MG_05724Merve Can (M.Sc., ACC) founded Minerve in 2011 to coach, mentor and consult to early to mid career professionals and organizations helping them to manage their paths more strategically. Merve is a professional coach, psychologist and management consultant who has been consulting hundreds of individuals, teams and organizations. Her coaching approach is a blend of two fundamental and practical psychological perspectives, Cognitive Behavioral Coaching and Adlerian Coaching Model.

She holds an MSc degree in Marketing Management from Universita Commerciale L. Bocconi in Milan, Italy and a double major BA degree in Psychology with Sociology from Koç University in Istanbul, Turkey. She is a member of International Coach Federation and ICF Turkey serving as Members Committee Leader. Merve has been accredited by ICF as an ACC. The International Coach Federation Associate Certified Coach (ACC) Credential is for the practiced coach.

In past, she has worked for Bain & Company as a consultant where she held a variety of international projects across different businesses. Formerly she had the opportunity to work at Mey İçki (Diageo), L’Oréal, Coca Cola Company and Philip Morris SA. Her experience ranges from marketing to organizational change, human resources to sales execution, supply chain to private equities as well as real estate because of her family business.

The name of the company, Minerve denotes the exact purpose of the practice: Minerve, the French pronunciation of the Roman goddess, Minerva was associated with wisdom, medicine, science, the arts, and trade, but also of war.
